| Development |
| When renovating it is inevitable that a development
comes along every so often. We generally have a portion of our portfolio
as development as a longer-term project. A couple we have on our books are:
1:3 in Kilkenny SA. We bought a house on a larger block of land with the plan to renovate the existing house and subdividing the land. The contract was not accepted until 2 months after initial contact and in that time the property deteriorated to the point where it was not salvageable. After discussing the proposal with a Town Planner we were advised the land could be divided in 3. The duplex purchased in Bowden SA were purchased as a development site but with a pair of 1880’s cottages on the land already we have decided to renovate. We are looking at dividing the land at the rear of the property using access via another property. Our Church Hall (The gift that keeps giving) is on 1212m2 of land, the church hall is close to the front boundary and the ability to place 2 more buildings on a community title is quite achievable. Application is in at council, keep checking the site for updates. Anyway check out some photos |
